Due to some malicious acts on the part of some individuals, Shadow Brook may or may not be showing at this years NIRO show. We will, however, still be attending as a vendor and representative of our rattery. We will still not be breeding until June. We look forward to seeing all individuals who come to see us and we look forward to seeing our babies who will be with other breeders/owners place in the show and, hopefully, win ribbons.

On January 31, 2005 at 7:00 a.m., SFR Songuer gave birth to twelve beautiful babies. Seven beautiful girls and five bouncing boys. I am excited to see how everything turns out with them. All of the babies are, thanks to Tango giving us such a small litter(!), reserved. I do apologize to those who will not be getting a baby from this litter. If you are seeking out beautiful kiddos, Deer Creek Rattery has four available boys and Shalimar Rattery has some beautiful girls and boys, as well - transport can be arranged as well.

We would also like to express a heart-felt thank you to Putter of Silk N' Satins Hamstery for a beautiful snow globe that she did of our sweet Ana. It is located on our Contact Us page so that everyone who seeks to adopt a Shadow Brook rat will see this beautiful work. Thank you again, Putter!

After this litter we will be taking a break, as well as going into a mandatory (for the NIRO show) quarantine until June. Not only is this break for show purposes, but we just need a break to spend time with our residents and spoil them rotten.
