This page is dedicated to those folks who've had the joy of bringing home a Shadow Brook rat (or rats in many cases!) into their lives and I thank these folks every day for loving and caring for these wonderful little babies. i met with amanda and we visited for about 30 minutes before she had to go into work and of course the boys were crawling all over us. on the way home i had to stop at the vet's office for omar's medicine and called to make sure no rats were there at all today---so i took the boys in for a visit---they were perfect little pr boys giving kisses and just loving all the attention---when i got home gary took them into the bedroom and we played with them for a while---once again ,perfect little gentlemen with no poops on the bed, which was nice since it was gary's bed :) then they got to investigate their new cage ---and they are all set-up in my bedroom----so they've had a pretty busy day already---right now 2 are in the hammock and 1 in the tube. welcome home don juan, lovebug and valentino :) finally <g> i've been waiting for you for weeks.

The animals I've gotten from Amanda are gentle, well bred, and worth the wait. Not one animal that I've adopted from her (and there's been many) have been agressive, terminally ill, or of poor quality. Amanda is up front about the condition the animal is in, if there are potential problems or issues that may pop up down the line, and is highly involved in the quality care that will be given to her animals after they leave her care. I've adopted both rescue and pure bred and I highly recommend her to any potential adopter.

Once again, I have been blessed with kiddos from one of Amanda's litters. I wouldn't have gone back to her if she wasn't the wonderful, caring rat mommy that she is. And it shows in her babies. From my first boy, Poe, who continues to be an absolute mommy's boy (he never, and I mean never, wants to leave my side) to my newest members, Miss Saki and Miss Nata, whom I've only had the pleasure of knowing for 5 days - who are already happily handwrestling me and dishing out the loving kisses. I don't think I could ask for sweeter babies. (So, thank-you Amanda! You know who will be coming back when she needs another ratty fix.)
