August is getting closer. Yeah! We have gotten the unfortunate news that we will have to wait a while until an all clear is given to us by Shalimar Rattery. She has, unfortunately, started to show potential signs of an SDA outbreak (More information can be found here). Sarah, your rats and you are in our thoughts and prayers during this horrible time. We hope you come back with a negative ELISA!
On a non-rattery note. Happy birthday to me. I'm a year older as of July 27th. Time to count the grey hairs. Heh.

Seven more days and counting until our quarantine is up. We are extremely excited about this because we will be able to continue with our breeding plans to improve rats in the fancy. Our new babies from Silver Fuzz and Shalimar will be coming toward the end of August when they get out of quarantine and then the show begins. We will keep you updated as things change, including adding photos of our rattery for all to see.

We are looking forward to getting out of quarantine in August and with it comes new editions that will occupy the quarantine locations. This includes SFR Songuer from Silver Fuzz Rattery and ShMR Cobweb from Shalimar Rattery.
