With a heavy heart, I must announce that SFR Anastasia passed away yesterday. She went in for a routine mammary tumor removal and came out just fine, only to pass a short time later while still in the vet's care. She will be greatly missed by everyone who's known her - especially the cagemates who loved her so much.
Edited to add: We've lost one more companion. October has been a very bad month for our babies. ShMR Cobweb was found gone this morning in his cage. Good bye my sweet one. I love you ever so much. Please take care of Ana for me, baby.

Sirius left us today. It is a sad day. Goodbye, sweet Sirius. We love you, our sweet baby boy. You will be missed eternally. Please wait for us at the bridge.
And on a slightly happier note, DCR Tango turned two today.

We're finally getting our down-under line started. With a special thanks to Dayna of Silver Fuzz Rattery, we will be getting a beautiful boy in the next few weeks. It will be an exciting change for our goals. With luck, it will all work out well.
The GLFRA will be attending America's Family Pet Expo in Novi, Michigan from November 17th through the 19th. This will be the third year of our club's attendance and my second year. We are excited to have been able to come back again.
